There is a new offset spring set from Autospring that now fixes/address's this issue. Apparently there were some rubbing issues, but that seems to have been fixed now. At least that is what I have been told for my 2006 Supercrew. I hope so as I just bought a set this morning.
I have the upgraded 20" wheels on my Screw. I will keep on eye on this when I have mine installed. I wonder if it is a tire issue. What I mean is? Supposedly you can run 33's after the install, but I am wondering if 33's may be the cause of the issue? I hope not? Now I am starting to wonder about my purchase this morning????

I actually have the same problem with my '04 Screw when I installed mine in June. Here was my note to Autospring and their reply.
"I just purchased and installed one of your 2" leveling kits for my 04 F-150. After completing the install, I noticed that the upper control arms were touching the springs when the truck was still jacked up and the tires were off. Thinking this might just be an alignment issue or something, I finished up the install and took it to my alignment shop. After getting the truck back, it looks like it still has the same problem. Any ideas on why this is happening? I'm pretty sure I have your new offset design.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated."

Keith,
It appears you are one of the few unfortunate F-150 owners with the longer struts. We have taken 10 sets of struts that we removed for Bilstein shocks and found that the factory strut shafts are not all the same length. Some are up to 3/4" longer than the shortest shaft. The longer strut shafts are due to Ford purchasing strut assemblies from several vendors especially during the first year of production of the new F-150. Ford had a tough time keeping up with demand early on and I was told by a local Ford dealer they outsourced more parts than usual. The different vendors machine the strut shafts to differing lengths. They also vary the thicknesses of the rubber top out dampers. The thinner rubber dampers along with the longer strut shafts allow the strut/coil assembly to droop farther during full off-load (tires off the ground). This intern allows the upper control arm to touch the coil during this full off-load. We designed our offset to eliminate this but a few F-150's still touch even with the offset. The other kit manufacturers out there have done nothing to help the UCA/coil touch issue and I have sold numerous kits to replace Daystar,Top Gun Customz, and Revtech non-offset kits. All but one of these replacement kits fixed the UCA/coil issue.
This is only a cosmetic issue, not a hazard. The UCA only touches the coil when the tires are off the ground(tire replacement, servicing, severe off-roading, ) etc. The rubberized coating comes off the coil in a small area and the upper control arm is not damaged by this contact. I recommend Gorilla glueing or epoxy glueing a small piece of rubber hose over the area of the coil that is being touched. Also note that your front suspension will settle at least a 1/2 inch in a few days to weeks after the bushings and compenents relax to there normal ride position.
We offer a full lifetime warranty and will refund you after we receive the kit back less 15% to cover our shipping,Ebay fees and Paypal fees.
I,am sorry to hear you are experiencing this with your F-150 but assure you it is only a cosmetic issue, but also understand if you would prefer to return the kit.
Please let me know at your earliest convenience what your plans are.
Best Regards
Kevin
Auto Spring Kits
I decided to leave the spacers on since I am not the hardcore off-roader. When I get home tonight, I'll pull a wheel off and see how they look.
Hope this helps.
BTW.. My first post!!! Can I get a Hell Ya?!?!
