mabye not for you but thats what its for for us.

Going back to what J&F was saying, let's see some pics of these trucks in action. Kordax, we don't need pics of you sitting at the mall.
the rize 12" does easily fit 40" tires....i jsut thought no one had the money and was crayz enough on here to take a 12" rize and 3 iinhc body and 44's......
once my truck is done....in about3 weeks? ill wait a lil bit to break it in and get use to it then get it off the pavement

Kordax is probably more money than brains anyway. Really, if someone wants to run that big of a tire they should be on 1-ton running gear or better. The IFS stuff just isn't strong enough to run anything over 35's, especially if you are going to take it off road. You might be OK on the street, but even then you will see VERY accelerated wear on the balljoints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, wheel bearings, etc... Anything bigger than 35's off road and the thing is just going to start spitting out CV joints. Rize did what appears to be a nice job on the subframe and all the mounts, but you are still relying on A LOT of stock parts, and they just were not designed for big tires.
rize has done very well, there cv angles are very good and keeps relativly stock geometry all around the truck.
im ordering this week from this company in FL that gives move than what the kit comes with at no added cost. I get the rize 8 inch, bilstein 5150 shocks
then added to it i get a add-a-leaf in the rear and stainless brake lines.
im going to be running 38 inch tires but they are light weight.....the weight of my all terrain 38's is lke the same weight as 35" mud grapplers.

I can't believe this thread is still going.
I find it totally hilarious that in another thread, patshea098 is agreeing with someone when they say that the Rize kit is good, unless you are serious about off-roading, then you should go with another brand. Dude, you are nothing but a hypocrite. Just go to the Suspension forums under OEM and look at the CST or Rize thread. Pat, thank you for validating everything I have said here.
Kordax is the epitome of a Rize customer - no wheeling, just a mall cruiser. I'm just waiting for Darwin's theory to start working on this guy. 44" tires on stock Ford IFS (or ANY IFS for that matter) is just stupid. Yeah, he is the kind of guy I want standing up for MY products.
You talk of engineering - where is the engineering that goes into designing a kit that lets you run 40" tires on STOCK 1/2 ton suspension components? Yeah, there is some genious behind that one. I'll bet you have nothing in any of your literature that warns of running those big tires on stock ball joints, TREs, hubs/bearings... THAT is an ambulance-chaser's dream right there. Little Johnnie installs the big lift, TRE fails (we all know Ford's problem with these anyway) and they sue the lift mfg because they said he could run 40" tires.
I also think it is totally pathetic that one of you registers with the name of "Rize" and pretends to be an employee of the company. OK Mr Employee, set up your login to accept e-mails and let me e-mail you something at work. Better yet, just PM me your name - I know the format of the addresses at Rize and we'll see if it is a valid address or not (if it is, I'll come back here and apologize - if not, whoever created that login must fess-up to it). Also, let me ask this - why didn't you design the kit to give additional wheel travel? Before you say that it does, I have an e-mail from Rize saying that it doesn't. How is off-road perfornance "enhanced" if you don't change travel or spring rate?
I also noticed that "Rize" didn't jump in to dispute anything that HW said. They KNOW the real story behind running those big tires.
HW - you are too easy on these guys. You think they are going to listen to what you are trying to tell them?

i will agree with you that he is stupid as hell to be running 44" inch tires...and 40" tires isnt a good idea on a IFS but CST makes kits for chevys to run 40" tires that are IFS why arent you sayign anything to them
GOOD JOB, since your engineering in building suspension systems is so great you msut be able to read very well in blueprints and all right? well you did a great job reading me saying anything about the Rize being good unless your a seirous off roader SINCE THAT WAS SOCAL858 THAT SAID THAT.
and the thought about that not really being a Rize employee never crossed my mind but i highly doubt someone would take there time to do that.
and your right the rize kit doesnt give you any more travel UNLESS you upgrade to new coilovers in the front. thought you could have figured that out knowing the standard kit keeps stock coilovers (as does CST kit for this truck and most the others)

Lets see some pics of your truck Kordax, nothing wrong with mallcrawling but thats why you're in no position to laugh at a Jeeper. Keep it friendly guys, just be glad we have these options and keep the discussion going.
i slightly disagree with you josiah.....unles your running the 12" with the fox coilovers and the rear 4-link with fox coilvoers for the F-150 THAN your jsut mallcrawling and prob cant do anytning but go through a few mud puddles
hahaha but for the most part your right josiah
im just saying that F-150 Rize took to shows last SEMA with the 4 link rear and 12 inch fron fox's all around which they have taken all over the dunes (its what the 4 link was built for jeeps&fords)

You're going to have a hard time arguing the kit was aimed to offroad, when they only manufacture 8" and up.

Troublemaker
Hey Jeeps and Fords. I thought these threads were designed to help people solve problems and help people make the right choices, not bash people companies ect. All you are doing is showing how imature you are. It seems you enjoy getting people upset. I for one was dissapointed in your response as there was no answer to my challenge. Everybody is different, some people enjoy offrading and some people want to drive big trucks. Why can't you respect the fact that everybody doesn't want to be Parnelli Jones like you. Hey I got an idea when you come out with your own line of suspension products email me @ giovanni@rizeind.com until then I will be waiting for that APOLOGY. If anybody is pathetic that would be you!

So, I'm guessing the "mall-cruising" is curtailed for a while. The word "troll" keeps popping up in his thread in the "Engines" Forum. Troll or not; I think the RIZE guys might want to back away from his endorsements
BTW, I'll see your location of "Somewhere between San Diego and Phoenix" And raise you a "Somewhere North of Somerton"
