New plans???
New plans???
Sooooo i went to this car customization place today and I was tellling them what i wanted to do. I told them I wanted to do a leveling kit, 20's with some 33's on my 04 SCREW. And here's what they told me:
-cant do 20's with 33's bc it will rub. Should go with 18's.
-Why pay $1800 for another set of 18's and tires when I already have 18's (stock ones)
- You will probaly not be able to put on a leveling kit....its very difficult and time consuming....thats why it usally cost $500 to put one on.
-If you wanna do 20's and 33's, reccomend at least a 3 inch lift kit.
I dunno if he was trying to talk some sense into me before I dropped some $$$, but he's got me thinking. I origianlly thought I could put the leveling kit on my self, but I am real worried it wont work out. Also, it does sound silly to spend serious cash ons on 18's and new tires when I already got 18's. I would love a lift kit, but It just seems like so much money for what it is.
What you guys think?
