will this work?

Hey guys i was wondering if i got the fabtech 6in lift if i could just use the stock rims or will they not work for some reason. i was gonna put some 35 or 37 on them and get the lift to save some cash right now then later on invest in some rims i like. if this will work let me know. thanks.

I would not reccomend putting 35's on stock wheels, although it can be done.. You would have to be to put 37's on stock wheels....

35"s Should Be Ok On Stock Wheels, But They Are Going To Hit The Frame In Sharp Turns Because Of The Offset Of The Wheel. Aftermarket Wheels Have A Zero Offset, Where As Your Factory Wheels Will Set In Alot Further. 35x12.50 Or 37x12.50 Will Work If You Have Clearance.

The Other Problem Is If You Have A 2004 Or Newer, You Have To Go With 17" Wheels Or Better Because Of The Brake Calipers, Which Will Make It Tuff To Find Tires. Look At The Bfg A/t Ko Or The Nitto Terragrappler. The Nitto Is Alot More Reasonalby Priced And Will Last Just As Long.

I was considering the same thing. The shop suggested using spacers between the rim and truck hub to deal w/ that offset issue mentioned above
