Cool Yet another torsion bar question....

Sorry for asking, but I was browsing through the threads on torsion bars and I think I remember reading that when cranking the torsion bars, if you go farther than you want, you can't back them out or you will have to get new torsion bolts because of the plastic coating on them?

I may have no clue what I am talking about or I might have misunderstood, can somebody help explain this?
