My 411 on it is that it's a silent recall???? whatever the f--- that means, but I've gotten in the mail procedures to check if they're bad. Works good. I had one break, drivers outer while going down my street, thank god! The inner one I replaced last year because it was going. In this check, they say grab it and turn it to make sure it's not siezed. Then push and pull away from the nut let's say, so grab it and pull up and down on outer one and front to back on inner. If anything is not right to you, replace or have it checked because it could be ??????????? a little spooky. Replace with greaseable Moog one's, good pieces.
