Anyone installed "spring helpers" to lift??

I came across this product today at a local auto supply store. Basically they bolt up to one side of the rear leaf spring and stiffen them. It is also said to raise the truck 1-2".

First, has anyone used these?? Are they any good??

Seems to me that the spring rate might be more progressive since it only works on one side.

Thanks.

YaMon.

I have added one of these kits to my 02 f150 w/ 6" fabtech and it works great it also gave me about 2" extra clearance. I am running 39.5 irok radials now, before i was running 36" parnelli's, my truck also has a 3" body lift.
