Can anyone tell me or post pics of how they attached a frame mounted grill guard to a lifted '99 4X4?

Its a Manik? grill guards thats suppose to be mounted to the tow hook location.

Can the mounting brackets just be welded to the top of the frame horns?

 

Most people just fabricate a new bracket that will raise the grill guard 3 inches. Maybe someone will post a pic.
