lowered 4x4?

is it possible to lower a 4x4? i have an 05 150 4x4 and i want to put some 22's on it but i dont want there to be a large gap between the wheel well and the tire. so i was wondering if i could buy the roush 2" lowering springs for the 4x2 to lower the front 2" and in the rear i could remove the blocks and also use some drop shackles to lower the rear about 4" and at the same time level out the truck? is this possible?

The 4x4 trucks don't use front coils(I think). So find something else.

On the new '04 and up F150s they use coil springs for 4x2 and 4x4.
So technically yes, you can do what you are wanting to do, you just have to find somebody that makes springs for your application, Im not sure how the springs you are looking at will work since they are for a 4x2.

The 05 4x4's do use coil springs, I don't know about putting 4x2 coils in though. Sorry!!

05RoushMarkLT lowered his '05 FX4 as well as a couple others. Find a couple posts by him and you'll see how he did it.
