gear ratio ?

I have a 2001 screw 5.4 I bought used (dealer so they dont have any idea what was done to the truck. My question is how do I find out what gears are in the rearend I have read that they have 3.55 but 4.10 was an option. Also I have seen there is a suspesion upgrade 7700lbs I do have the 7700 sway bar but Iam unsure if that was added or if it has the whole package. Is there anyway I can find that out. Thaks for the help. Dave

Check the door jamb sticker for 'AXLE' code. Then search the site for that code and it'll tell you what it is. Or crawl inder the back of the truck and look at the tag. Should see something like 3L55 or 3L73 and you should be able to figure the rest out from there...

If it's a 'true' "7700", then it will have 7 lug wheels and it'll say "7700" on the rear F150 badge, or it might even say F250, but I think they did away with calling them F250's after 2000 because it confused the heck out of the parts guys!
