i have a 99' with a 5 inch superlift and a three inch body. I ordered a stering stabilizer kit from superlift for about 90 bucks. i've had it on there for about 80000 miles and it works great. could it be the tires though? i had a set of mickeys that bounced at 55 mph.

life lift same thing lol.. shouldnt be my tires they are all terrains and they ride smooth now, just seems like its pretty easy to knock em outa allignment, so they start shakin real bad, i know its cuz there bigger blah blah lol. Anyways i rotate em often and they arent wearing irregularly on either side. How much did ya pay for your fabtech stabilizer bigtruck? 90 bucks doesnt sound to bad for that superlift one either, ill start looking to see if i can find prices around there. thanks guys.

I had a sterring wheel shake at freeway speeds with Procomp 35's. The Santa Ana 4WP store blamed it on Ford. Ford blamed it on the lift kit. There is service bullitens to fix a similar problem but they won't acknolege it with a lift. I finally went to Laguna Hills 4WP and they rebalanced all the tires and fixed the problem. Unfortunately since santa ana jackholes never did, the tires only lasted 15k miles.

Bigtruck311, do you happen to have a closeup pic of you stabalizer? I just bought some Pro Comp shocks that came with a stabalizer and the instructions are pretty vague.

i dont have any on hand i would snap some but i would have to remove my skidplate i will explain install and if you still need a pic i will take off the skid plate for you this weekend if needed, before you start make sure the tires are straight, on the passenger side it will attach with a braket to holes in the frame, than it will attach to the drag link with two u bolts, make sure the shock is only half way extended, then attach, it should be very straight forward unless there is a part missing from your kit, good luck
