Help installing Fabtech Steering Stabilizer

What for most seems to be less than an hour job, I'm several into it and still trying to get this thing installed on my '02 4x4 F150...

Which way does the bracket mount onto the center link? The instructions don't show or explain this, and neither way seems to look right to me. I'm getting frustrated, so if anyone can bail me out with advice and/or pictures that would be great. Also, once I get the bracket on the right way, should it be mounted at the angle it hangs with gravity, or does it need to be moved up?

Thanks

it should be mounted to allow movement from side to side, it should almost be straight across from the bracket to the frame, i will try to take some pics latter but it will be hard to get around the skid plate
