Hey Guys:

I'm looking at replacing my 03 F150 with an 05 or 06. I've driven some and have found the suspension seems way too soft for my liking. But I have not driven one with the FX4 package. These are all supercabs. What if any differences exist in the FX4 from a suspension perspective vs the Lariat or XLT?

I just purchased an '05 FX4 and drove a Lariat when I was making my decision. I noticed a difference with the FX4 having a little harder suspension than the lariat, and the shocks on the FX4 are labeled as "off-road shocks" on the window sticker, as for what kinds they are, I have no idea. My last vehicle was a Jeep, and going into the FX4, the ride seemed soft anyway.
