98 F150 Lift
98 F150 Lift
This might be a stupid question, I couldn't find anthing on it any where else on the site.
I dont want to go extremely large, just a bit, maybee 3 or 4 inches. I have 33s on it, they fit, but it looks like it would look better with a little more height.
-First, what would be better, suspension lift or body lift?
-What would be easeir?
-If I did a bodylift, I have a hittch on my truck(not on bumper) would that effect it? also, I amnot sure if a bodylift would work on my truck to raise me front bumper, it looks different than most, it is the same style as other f150s I have seen, just the opening in the front is larger.
- Finally, what company of bodylift, or susp. lift would you recomend? I live in Canada, (not sur if some companies are different)
Any help would be great,
Thanks,

1) It depends on what you will be using the truck for. If it wont leave the roads much, then a body lift will do fine. If you need more suspension travel then a susp lift would be best. Also the body lift is considerably cheaper.
2) The body lift.
3) No, your hitch is mounted to the frame. But what this means is that your hitch will stay where it is, while your bumper moves up three inches, so the gap will be a little bigger.
4) Most body lift kits include brackets to raise the bumpers.
5) Performance Accessories makes one of the best body lift kits, buy some gap guards if you go this route. For suspension, the smallest susp lift I have ever seen for our trucks is made by Rancho, at 4 inches.
