Is it lift spindles and shocks? If it is, that sounds really high.

I found a place on ebay that sells spindle kits with 2" blocks instead of add a leaf for $375.00. Spindles are made by Rough Country, they seem to be good from all I've read. The seller is Topguncustomz if you're interested. I've been looking for a spindle kit for awhile and this is the best deal I can find. BTW- Stay far away from AIM industries, Wandell and others have mentioned numerous problems with their kits, most noteable is the problems with the ABS sensor.

It's not just their lifts, it's everything AIM makes.

If its everything including GOOD shocks thats about the right price. My fabtech spindle lift kit was like 700 something. Make sure you get an alignment cam kit.

fabtech

go with a fabtech lift, their lifts level off the trucks the best. quality is real good too.

After some research, I found out that Rough Country spindles are made by AIM. Thank god I did buy that kit, though I did find another one on ebay made by Doetsch Tech. From everything I've read, they make damn good products, and this dealer on ebay is selling 3" spindle with 2" blocks (no shocks) for $280. It's cheaper than buying from Doetsch directly.

I didn't know that! I have read too many negative posts about the poor quality of AIM products and their poor customer service to ever buy anything from them.

Here's the link:

I called Doetsch Tech, igonore the part of the ad that mentions your stock shocks working with the kit, they won't. I would recommend buying shocks from Doetsch though, their prices are pretty good, though they can't even beat the ebay dealer's price. The number for Doetsch is 800-8SHOCKS. I hopefully buying my kit tomorrow.

The only way I found out was from another F-150 site where someone bought the exact kit I was looking at and had to ship the spindles in for the ABS sensor hole to be drilled. He seems to be happy with it since though. I'm skeptical, so I'm going to give the Doetsch system a go after talking to them this week. I'll hopefully be able to post my results next weekend. BTW, does a spindle lift increase the shock travel? I guess it would depend on the location of the ball joint mounts on the new spindle, eh?

I don't think spindles increase wheel travel. I also thought you could reuse the OEM shocks with most.
Also, in AIM's add, they warn you that their spindles may break with certain wheels(width and backspacing). That should be enough to convince anyone to stay away.
