Rear sway bar

Hi there, has anyone installed a rear sway bar on their 04-05 trucks? I was surprised there was no sway bar frome the factory. Any suggestions on who has the best bar? Thanks for now......

I can't believe no-one wants to make their truck handle better. I have a larger rear swaybar on my Crown Vic and it handles like a dream! Very sporty!. Anyone?

Thanks for the info, Michael. Where did you get your swaybar? Hellwig sounds like a good name. I'm not sure what Moss sells but they list one on their website.

Question Adding rear sway bar for 97 F150 4 X 4

I was just curious if they make rear sway bars for my model of truck. As I write this, I need to go outside and check and see if one is already one my truck. I agree that installing one should help with the handling of the truck and on curvy roads and interstate driving. I plan on pulling a small Fifth wheel RV trailer with my truck and I think the addition of a sway bar would definitely help me control the trailer better. Does anybody have any suggestions as well.

Thanks

I'm curious about this because there's so little weight in the rear. I've installed and modified sway bars in lots of vehicles (sports cars), but never considered a rear bar in a pickup truck. Have you noticed an increased tendancy to skitter around corners since fitting the bar? If you corner too fast, which end breaks loose first?

When I dropped my 00 f-150 I changed the front to a 1 1/4 and added a 7/8 rear bar it took almost all the body roll out as far as skitter around corners I haven't notes any, going into a corner to fast I will get 4 wheel drift but I just stand on the gas and she come right back. Just remember to set up for what you are planing to do with the truck
