Some thing lose

I have a problem. There's something lose under my truck. From reading other threads, I learn that it might be the Torsion bar. Do I need new bushing or is there a way to tighten them up. Also if it is not this, what else could it be. Thank

A noise?, welcome to the club. there may be a lot of different noises under our trucks. Like JMC says, more info please and I will share some of my experiences.

I doubt the torsion bars are making noises and there are no bushings attached to them. If they are making noises is because they are hanging or so, and you should notice somethig like that. Also I heard of torsions breaking in two but then again this is somethig very noticeable, and you should know already by visual inspection.

It sounds like clanking and it's always happening while I' m driving. The sound comes from behind the driver's seat and sound's also not that loud.

Does it happen on bumps or on flat surface? Is it rythmic and in tune with the engine rpm or road speed? It could be the slip yoke that is loose and slapping in the extension housing when you go over bumps.
