I ordered a set of the pro comp shocks that 4wheelparts.com sells for my 00 4wd lariat. They are on special for $134 for all 4. Anyone have these installed? I was looking for a good highway ride, as I dont go offroad much.

Well the shocks came via UPS today. So I went out to install them. I opened the boxes and the shocks looked TINY!. They are NON gas charged small tube shocks. I took off one of my ORIGINAL 5 year old motorcraft front shocks to compare the old with the new. The 4wheelparts "pro comp" shocks are 2/3 the size of the orig motorcraft ones. I think I am going to go with more of a higher end shock for my truck
BTW my original gas charged motorcraft front shocks are still in good shape after 5 years, compress them and they spring right back, real smooth.

ANyone else have any experiences with the Pro Comp shocks from 4wheelparts?

Nobody has any comment on these shocks? Anyway I went to the 4 wheel parts store and returned them. I personally would not recommend these "pro comp 3000" shocks.
