Question new shocks

i am looking at getting a rough country 2 inch lift kit. the kit comes with coil springs and lift blocks. my question is do i need longer shocks or will the factory do? its a 4x2.

Your OEM shock will work up front for sure. I believe you would be ok with the stock shocks in the rear, but I would check to make sure they are not "topping out" at full suspension droop.

Through a set of 5100 Bilstiens on and the ride quality will be much nicer.

Guys, what kind of lifespan can I expect from shocks like Blistien, Ranchos, etc.......?

Normal driving with a little offroad.

Thanks.

slayer - keep us posted how it works out. I've got a 2WD and was thinking about a 2" lift also. Thanks.
