Getting new Leaf spring clamp thingys?
Well today my springs started squeeking. Took a look at them and the clamp that holds the ends tight was comming loose and the springs had a little space in between them. So i told myself i will fix that the next day, since i was at work. Well coming home from work at 1230am I hear PING, and then metal on the pavement, but didnt affect the ride. Got home and checked it out, 1 clamp from each side is gone completly.
So my question is where can I get those things. I put on a pro comp add a leaf a few months ago, so it needs to be like that. I'm probably going to contact pro comp, but does anybody know where i can just go and get some that would work just as good, instead of waiting for the new ones to arrive.
In the meantime I think i'll take some bolts or something and do a makeshift clamp thingy.

Do yourself a favor, don't get the factory ones, they will be an absolute bitch to install. Autozone, checker, etc. should carry new leaf spring bolts, basically a metal bracket that has two threaded ends and a big metal bar... I don't have a picture but rather then trying to "hook it" you just clamp the bars together. They should know what you're talking about.

I opted to not clamp them together, and just weld the bar to the bottom leaf to keep the leafs from wiggling around (that was the problem I was having) but still wanted max flex, since it was a wheeling rig.
