Replacing the pitman arm is easy.

1. Purchase the new arm at your local parts store.
2. Purchase a pitman arm removal too, if the parts store does not loan them.
3. Crawl under the vehicle on the left side.
4. Remove the hardware at each end of the pitman arm.
5. Use the tool to remove the pitman arm from the steering gearbox shaft.
6. Replace pitman arm and reinstall hardware, with new cotterpin.

Takes about 20 minutes from what I hear.

Why are you replacing?

Right, on the 4x4 there is something directly in the way (can't recall what it is), that must be removed first.

I did mine last year. Do a search by pitman arm and hopefully it will pull up.
