need help about lifts

I just got a new Fx4 '04 and wanted to know about lifts? 6' or 4'. I have done alot of homework its between Procomp and Rancho, unless ya'll think there is better for the price, and I just want to get some other F150 people to help me out. And a friend told me if I get it done by a professional shop then the warranty is still good someone tell if that is true or not because people will not give me a strait answer about that. Need answers.

Thanks

When you install an aftermarket suspension lift, you will void the warranty on the suspension components replaced, modified or affected by the lift. However, the suspension manufacturer should offer a warranty on their product.
As, for a lift, both of those are great lifts. I'd also consider the Fabtech lift.

If you're gonna spend the money, I'd go with the extra 2 inches of lift. However, I've read here that the Rancho is actually taller than 4 inches, more like 5 or 5 1/2. You may want to check in the 04-05 forum. I know there is at least one member with the Rancho lift.

Here is a 4" Rancho lift. I didn't have the before and after opportunity to measure but it seems higher that 4".
