They say you are supposed to press them out. When we did mine we just beat them thru with a hammer. But either way make sure you have the strut all the way apart, the isolator off of the strut tower top and than with the tower top facing up place it on the edge of a work table (something pretty sturdy) and bang the bolts out of the bottom. IF it does not work you might want to try a LITTLE heat, or try taking it to a shop to have them pressed out. The bolt bascily get pulled into the top to stop them from spinning when you start getting the threads tight. When you go to reinstall them on the truck you might have a problem with a bolt spinning, just tighten the other ones down and go back to the one you had problems with and it should be fine.

Hey thanx for the help I just had a really hard time getting them to even look like they were gonna come out as I was beating them. I' ll pull them off this weekend and either beat em like a man or get them pressed out! I was kind of afraid I overlooked something obvious and didnt want to do something I could'nt fix. thank you!

Has anyone had a problem with the coil spring rubbing on the upper control arm after installation?? Mine rubs only on the left?

daystar leveling kit

Hi,

I installed the Daystar 2" leveling kits on two 05 f150 screw 4x4. One one of them (mine) I also installed Bilstiens at the same time. My left front coil spring rubs the left front upper control arm. Has anyone seen this as a problem. Or does someone have a phone # for Daystar. I bought mine on Ebay and did not come with a receipt, cant find the vender. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
