is there a special tool used for removing and installing axle pivot bushings? i was working on mine today on my 95 F150 2wd and i spend all day on one of them... never got to the other. The only way I was able to get them out was by beating them with a hammer. Is there a puller of sorts?

 

checkers auto has the tool for rent (C-clamp type), $99 but you get it back. Harbor freight tools may also have one ~$29.
