Just wondered if anyone with this set-up has run into my problem.

I have a 1998 F150 ext Cab 4x4, I recently installed the Fabtech 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift. The problem I have ran into is with the Automatic transmission shifter on the column, the cable that connects to the transmission to select P,R,N,D,2,1 seems to automatically adjust itself and for that reason I can not get the shifter to get down to 1st gear, also my indicator for Drive and Reverse is not aligned. It would appear that I need to modify something either on the transmission or the cable to correct the problem. I just wondered if anyone sles ran into a similar problem with an Automatic with 9 inches of lift.
