torsion bars

Ok I'm kinda new to trucks having owned a sports car for the last 2 years but since buying a truck last month i've been trying to learn all i can about them. This site has really helped me out when it comes to changing my truck. But one thing i'm confused about is whether or not my truck has torsion bars. Its a 97 F150 2wd lariat with the 4.6L. I've read that some do and some don't. Not knowing anything about trucks I don't even know what i'm looking for. But anyways any help would be appreciated.

In the '97-'03 & '04 heritage the F150 had torsion bars on the 4 wheel drive models and coil springs on the two wheel drive. They all have leaf springs in the back (the 4wd has a block under the springs in the back to get that extra clearance).

I dont have any pictures that show what a torsion bar actually looks like. But if you see a 4WD F150 in the '97-'03 body style, look under the front and you'll see a black bar on each side that runs from the front suspension to under the cab.
