Levelling Kits

I have an 04 FX4 and am considering going with the levelling kit in lieu of an entire suspension lift. Is there one kit better than another?

Any recommendations on wheel/tire combos to make it look as good as possible?

Autospring makes a good lift kit that doesn’t change the ride quality. Daystar is also a very popular lift kit.

Yeah, those are the two most popular lifts. The Autospring kit is a lot easier to install because it is a one piece unit that just bolts on top of the coilover shock.

Thanks fellas... I ended up going with the Tuff country package. I heard more good about the billet aluminum versus the urethane spacers. The install was easy, once I found a store to loan me the spring compressors. I gained 2 1/4 inches on the front end.

How about tires now? I have some insight via my father in law who is in good with Goodyear, that they are coming about with a couple new 18 " tires this year. I don't really want to buy new wheels to accomodate new tires, but I do want to get a more aggressive tire on the truck next. Any recommendations for an 18" tire, or even a less expensive 17" plus 33x12.50 combo?

How about air intakes? I like the K&N product line, but is it the best for the F-150?

Thanks
