leveling shackles

I have a stock 1998 F150 4.2 v6 that I am wanting to level. All I want to do is to drop the back 2", which seems to be fairly common. I have done quite a bit of looking to find the best price, however, I haven't talked to anyone that has experience with installing or use. When you take the old shackles off, are you supposed to re-use the rubber grommet or do the new ones come with (I have priced, but never asked that)? Also, does lowering only 2" affect the handling of the truck? Will manufacturer "x" shackles that cost $100 be any better than manufacturer "y" shackles that only cost $35? Sorry this is so long, but thanks for the help on such a piddly task.

I put 2" shackles on my 01 Supercrew. Mine are Daystars that I got off of Ebay for, I think, $59.00. They have the grease fitting and they are adjustable at 1" lowering and 2" lowering. I had a vibration and had to purchase a shim kit from Belltech $15.95 which fixed it. I haven't noticed much difference in handling but I'm sure there are benefits, with lower center of gravity. I do like the look. I had put a set of Centerline 20s on my truck and it really looked stupid with the back end hiked up in the air.

Another point

The Daystars come with new urethane bushings.

Thanks for your help. I don't have 20's on my f150. This weekend I am supposed to put on some 175/60/17 's. What do you think it would look like leveled, okay? or not?

I think a level truck looks good with any tire/wheel combination. Here's pics of mine.
