Great looking trucks! I am looking into some 315/70/17 BFg's for my FX4 as well. I will be keeping my stock wheels for now and probably go with a 6in. Fabtech kit.

A quick ?

Great looking truck!
When you went with that size tire, were you able to install them without doing anything to the truck? How do they fill out the wheel wells?
I'm looking for a tire that will fit my stock rims. If I lift it at all, it'll only be 1 or 2 " all around. I like the front a little lower than the back.
Thanks.

Hey 1BAD:

How much did those BFG A/T's run you $? I have the same exact truck and want a nice A/T to really fill out my wheel well without having to make any mod's.

Nice looking truck!

hey fellows,

Hawk-i did nothin extra to the truck but put the tires on..., it was hard to turn , i then lift inchand a half with torsions, still rubs a little in front and back though if u drive it rough, but now i put a Fabtech 6 in lift, (props to fabtech) Badass kits, , took about 12 hrs on a lift, but after i was done , iwish i would have done it the day i bought in 02, I like it that much!and my torsions now are back to normal, it rides no difference than it did before, u migh think of a 305 instead of 315, unless u do some kinda of a lift, body or other..I mean I still like the way it rides, when i had my torrsions cranked , oh that was not anygood IMOrode like s@#$%
Ill post some pics thursday at workof it now, It consist of 315/70/17, 6 in Fabtech..

And Slippy,My cost was 205$$US Bucks @piece, with no mods cranck torsions, u might like i dont know, but i didnt, PEace, ill post some more phots Thursday....

I love the way your truck looks with that lift. How much was the kit and labor on it if you don't mind me asking? I was looking at body lifts until I saw a pic of your fx4 with the suspension lift. Great looking truck.

Congrats man, the final product looks great! Did you change your gears? If so what gear did you go with? I should be getting my fabtech kit real soon.

Thanks, Lift A+++

Hey Miles, the kit was 1500, shipped to door(havin forklift was nice, its heavy)I did the install myself also, Having a lift made it nice also, took about 12 hours, I was told it s about 900 around one of our shops and 3 days, I was like na I can do it, so I did, Kit was very nice A+ , If i had known it was gonna be this nice i would have done it when i bought it new...

SoTx, no i didnt feel the need to change them yet, at 70mph on trk speedo, my GPS says 77, I was told by several board members that up to 35 inch tires, without, but really no more,315\70\17= 34 tall, I LOVE the way it rides damn near factory, all ready had stiff shocks from the FX4 package, so not much change, IMO, Im also gonna get computor , fix the speedo then and a few other things..Photos, Im 6'1'' leanin on the truck, not huge truck but its ride and function is perfect for me...
