im looking into lifting my truck. any recommendations? i KNOW NOTHING about lifts or lifting. if anyone could give me a quick run down of the parts needed and where i could find them. im thinking a 3" lift. nothing to big. also whats a good tire and tire size to go with? i was thinking 285/70/17. im going with some eagle alloy 186 17x9 wheels and a 33-34" tire.

performance accessories has a 3" body lift that i could buy instead of the skyjacker lift and with the extra money upgrade to some good shocks? what do you all think although it says the body lift is only for the 5.4? why would that be? http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/PER70063.html

also could anyone recommend a good set of shocks that are affordable for any one of these setups?
