i'd like to drop it down a couple of inches, but i would hate to lose the awesome smooth ride it has now. any suggestions are appreciated. great site by the way.

If you want to lower it, sell the 4x4 and go buy a 2wd Chevy. What is the point of owning a 4x4 if you aren't going to use it? It isn't like you have an excuse to need 4wd on the highway down there - like, when was the last time it snowed in Miami?

 

Eibach doesn't have it listed on their website, but I think they offer one or will soon offer one. Check out the chip foose f150. It's a lowered 04 4x4 using the eibach setup. http://www.truckinweb.com/features/0405tr_foose/

 

I lowered my 03 Screw 4x4. It was a hold me over untill I could lift it. But I never got the chance cause it was totaled. Now I have an 04 FX4 and plan to lift it. But lowering it is possible.
