Levelling the 04
Skyjacker, Revtek and Auto Spring Corp also make spacers. Some people say that the initial portion of the suspension travel is slightly stiffer with the spacers. Sort of like when you crank up the torsion bars on a 97-03 F-150 4x4.
I have the daystar leveling kit and love it. I was lucky because i have the right tools available to me to work on those larger coils. The ride (imo) has not changed. I have the fx4 it has a stiffer ride than the other models.
All in all the steering and suspension stays the same and in just a couple of hours your done. You may want to have your front end aligned. Just to be sure. Mine is going in this friday. Better safe than sorry.
good luck

Have you ever heard of the The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act?
As mentioned episode 102 of Tricked Out, the question may arise as to whether an engine-performance enhancement, or other performance modifications, will void your vehicle's warranty. In most situations, they do not. If a problem arises with your vehicle that has nothing to do with the modification, restrictions to the warranty don't apply. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, aftermarket equipment that improves performance does not void a vehicle-manufacturer's original warranty.
Note: There are certain conditions where the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act does not cover you. One such instance is if the warranty clearly states that the addition of aftermarket equipment automatically voids your vehicle's warranty. The other is if the aftermarket device is the direct cause of the failure you are getting repaired. To find out if adding aftermarket accessories will void your warranty, check your owner's manual or ask the dealership.
hope this helps
