Question on shocks---->
I've always used the Monroe Sensa-Tracs and have never been disappointed. It's a low pressure gas shock and lasts virtually forever without the need for high pressure. They aren't good for lifted trucks though because the piston will ride outside of the 3" or so "comfort zone" and be very stiff. The Monroe Reflex will be much stiffer than the Sensa-Tracs. The Sensa-Tracs also use rubber bushings which give a noticeably smoother better feel than the polyurethanes. IMO.
Well went and bought some Monroe sensa-trac front shocks for +/- $40 a piece. Easy installation and a great ride. Ill do the rear shocks later on
I reccomend these shocks for anyone, fairly cheap and a good ride

This seems a good thread to resurrect.
My 2001 supercab 2WD has a trailer-towing package which claims OEM HD shocks. In the event I never bought that boat so I don't really tow with it.
At 65,000 miles I am considering replacing the OEM shocks. Last month I drove 50-60 miles over some rough gravel roads and ever since there's been something "funny" about the ride. Presumably this bouncing around finished off the seals.
I've had good luck with KYB gas-a-justs in the past and will probably go with them (funny how KYB NON-adjustable shocks are called gas-a-justs).
Anyone want to steer me away from these?
