Well the directions are pretty complete so as long as you can read and follow directions you should be ok. There are a few things they did backwards so once your ready for the install post up and I am sure TX adn I can give you some tips on the install.

My old 98 Scab had the RCD 6 inch, and my friend has the 6 inch fabtech. Quality wise both are the same in my opinion. The only difference is the bilstein shocks that the RCD kit comes with. RCD's ride is much smoother especially on the road. If this kit is mainly for looks, go for the RCD kit b/c it will feel better on the road. Off roading go with the fabtech.

He will NOT get 6" with the RCD kit for two reasons first reason is it is only a 5" kit and secondly the Supercrews only get 4" out of there 5" lift. He can always upgrade to the Bilsteins shocks which is the only differance in the ride. I have ran the Fabtech shocks and they actually had a softer ride than the Bilsteins I am currently running.

I did not really imply he was going to get 6 inches. I was just stating my experience with the two brands.

And I was merely tryng to tell him tha facts regarding the RCD kit . It is only a 5" kit and the Supercrews only get 4" from it. Did not mean to make it seems as though you implied that.

I believe that I'll be going with the Fabtech.

Neither come with brake lines both are complete kits. The Fabtech uses extneding brackets to extend the hoses.

Fabtech very complete very reliable. I have a buddy who has the RCD and he has had numerous parts break. The Skyjacker kit does not come with brake lines either. Also it is only available in red.

I found a super lift on ebay that says it is a complete kit and the price is affordable too... but for the price compared to others make me a bit skeptable..
