What do I need to clear 35's on my F150

I have a 2000 F150 4x4 and I just bought some BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA 315 75 16s, those are 35" if im not mistaken, anyone? Im wondering if anyone else has these tires and what they had to do to fit them and the cheapest approach. I was thinking about doing an add-a-leaf kit in the rear to get 2" and then cranking the torsion bars for 1.5 to 2" in the front and then probably a 2" or 3" body lift. Any advice.

Yes 315/75/16s are 35s. To fit them you're going to want to do a 3" body lift then crank the torsion bars and trim as necessary. I had to do both when I had that size tire mounted on 10" wheels, after I went to 8" wheels I would have only had to do one or the other. Another thing to do is to get some 4.56 gears done at the same time, read the signature.

Talking torsion bars

If I were you I would shy away from cranking up the torsion bars.
Because by turning them up you put more strain on the front end......makes things wear faster and gives you one hell of a sh*ty ride. Just go with the 3'' body lift, that will work fine
