Since I don't feel real good right now and don't wanna look up prices I'm just gonna go with the SWAG method for the price. You're looking at probably around $1500 for the lift and probably about 1/2 that for the price of installation. You can also fit 33s with no lift and 35s with only 3" of lift. 33s with 6" of lift would look like ***.

yeah..it'll be about $1500 for a lift and I've been quoted from $450-$650 on installation. 3" Body lift/4" Suspension would look good w/ 33s. 6" would look good w/ 35s

You don't need to modify the driveshafts for only a 4" lift on a 97+ F150. On 98+ Rangers you have to with a 4" lift, but not with F150s.

Dont forget to regear after you lift the truck with bigger tires. To regear a 4x4 your looking at 1200-1500 for front and rear. With a 4.6 you well have to regear.

10 inch lift

Where did you get the 10inch susp. lift? Or did you convert it from IFS. The only people I have ever found with a 10 lift for 1997 newer F-150 was WHIPLASH but I can find them anymore. Let me know,

thanks

Whiplash and Full-throttle are the 2 companies making them. The whole deal is kinda fishy. Full Throttle opened up shortly after the whole tax fraud deal went down with whiplash. Not to mention they opened up just about right next to whiplash's location. Anyhow, most everyone I've talked to thats had a 10" IFS lift like them at first, but after a while they can't get rid of them fast enough. Over at FTW, one guy in the LA had one for a little while and now he's going solid, Rhino had one and he had so many problems with it he sold the truck. IFS flat out isn't designed to be lifted that much. It'll tear things up VERY fast. If you're going to be lifting that much and wanna run bigger than 36" tires go with a solid axle but you better get out your checkbook. You're looking at $4k for the swap, but if you want to run bigger than 36s you get to shell out another $1000-2000 to build and axle that can actually take the abuse.
