how to raise my 94 2wd 2.5" in front?

Please dont kill the newb for asking a question thats been answered a hundred times! I cant put "2WD" in the search field so I'm just looking back through old posts.

Like I said I have a 2wd 1994 f-150 short/short, and I would like to level it up and run 31x10.5's what can I do?

Yeah I read that thread, I think they are talking about 97+ models with A-arm susp. from what I have been told 2.5 inch spring lifts will give me camber problems. I cannot go the spindle route as I have the crappy I-beam suspension. thanks for the info though!

Dont trash the I-beam suspension, there's a lot of good things about them. They have a lot of travel, the springs and shocks are easy to change because the shock is outside the spring, and good articulation too.

You can adjust the camber on the I-beam suspension but you need the right equipment. The Bear and Amco alignment tool companies made a hydraulic ram and bracket set up for correcting camber on the I-beam suspension. Basicly this equipment bends the I-beam to the prober camber adjustment. If you only plan on raising the front a few inches you can have the camber corrected. The tough part will be finding a shop that has the proper equipment and is also willing to do it.

When I did front end work I only did a handfull of these I-beam camber adjustments. Years later when I need it done on my own truck I could'nt find anyone to do it.

Good luck.

thanks for the info! So far my options look like this.

1.5" daystar spacers

5" lift kit

or what I am thinking now.

4wd springs and altered I-beams.
