Question 2/3 drop

Anyone ever do a 2/3 drop on their truck? Would love to keep some of the "rake" to it.
Thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks

I dropped my truck 3"x5" and It has a nice rake to it. A drop like the one that you want would be easy. 2" drop coils (or lower control arms) in the front end and shackles and hangers for the rear of your truck will leave a great rake. Make sure you get lowered sport truck shocks to help with the decreased suspension travel. That is all I can offer for advice.

2/3 drop

Thanks for the comments. Any chance you have some pics of your truck. Most guys seem to do a 2/4 and the trucks look great but look level. Thats why I thought a 2/3 would still keep some rake to it. How much from clearance to have with a 3" drop on the front. The shop felt that a 3" on the front might cut down on ground clearance alittle too much for our use.

thanks again

Sorry, I have no pics of my truck. All my digital camera gear is back in Texas while I am at college here in Cali. Anyway, I have no clearance problems with the 3" front drop due to the fact that I run 275/60R17 tires that have about a 31" diameter. They are really beefy and keep my ground clearance really good. No driving condition is an obstacle short of off-roading. I really think a 3-4 drop is the best looking if you want a 'hot-rod' rake to your truck. Just my 2-cents.
