NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE SAYING THIS.....
Well, I'm dropping off my truck tomorrow at 4wheelparts in Houston for my 6" Procomp lift and 35" Procomp ATs on AR Baja wheels. Total price is going to come somehwere around $2500. Am I getting a good deal. I'm getting the install free and 3 for 1 deal on tires so I think so... Wish me luck.

uttt ohhhhh!!! I was going to do the same thing... but the man at 4wheel parts here in VanNuys said that the same lift you are doing would require an extra 3 inch body lift to be able to clear the fender well with 35" tires. That's why I haven't done it yet - I need to investigate more. From what I've been told, the other option instead of the extra lift..is shaving the bumper edges. Also, make sure you re-gear your truck!!!! Or it'll get sh*tty gas mileage!

How *****ty is *****ty because I don't plan on regearting for a while. I'm trusting the evidence on this one and going with the 35's. Blown and Chris Duke, the webmaster of f150world both are running 35's with a 6" RCD lift. I figure if they can do it, then so can I. Anyways, I'm not getting it put on until the 25th because they have parts on backorder. I just cant see how theres that much difference between the 305/75R-16 (34's) and the 315/75R-16 which are 34.6 (35's). If I have to shave then I have to shave but I doubt it will be much.

I'v always got pretty good gas mileage with my truck. I got 35's with 3.55 gearing. Around 13 to 15 around town, 17 on highway. Not to bad for a lifted truck.

Offroad guy - hate to burst your bubble, but Procomp doesn't make a 305/75r16, they do make a 305/70r16 which is about a 33x12.5 tire and they also make a 315/75r16 which is a 35x12.5. Don't let 4WP rip you off! They are notorious for that. If you want a second opinion, go to Offroad Unlimited, they are around Westhiemer and Highway 6. BTW, I think $2500 is a good deal, figure the lift is $1200-$1400, tires are gonna be around $500, rims are about $600, so...you can do the math. If you ask me, they are raising the price of the lifts to cover the cost of install. But I only think this because of a general distrust and disgust for 4WP. They are the starbucks of the offroading world. Make sure the do everything with this install, longer brake lines, alignment, correct pinion angle out back. Good luck!

I called around and the prices for the parts are around the same between the 5 or 6 places I called. The reason I'm going with 4WP is because they are offering the free install (the other places wanted 600-650) and 3 for 1 deal on tires. I don't plan on offroading so I think I can cram those 35's in there.

Let me start by saying, It WILL look good!! Then I want to say, You are already spending $2500 why not go ahead and spend $200 more and get the gears now, You wouldn't be sorry, And what is another $200?!!!!
Well, I guess being a Ford tech I do all my work myself. That is where the $200 comes in(price of the gears) don't have to pay to have them installed. Or any other mods doodads or gadgets.
As you guys know 4Wheel Parts just had their big sale and they wanted $950 installed, out the door for front and rear 4.56 gears for my Silverado. Thats a damn good price.
