F#(k!n S#!t......Bent Frame!?!?!?......Help
I was looking under the rear of my truck when I saw that the frame right where the bump stops are mounted is bent up and bowed out on both sides.
I know it is from hard bottoming of the rear axle when I am off-roadin.
Also my bed and cab don't line up perfectly.
Has anyone had this problem before?
You might want to check it out!
What can I do to go about fixing it?
I guess it's time to get a set of NATONALS!
L8..Thanks for any help.

Bummer..... Have not heard of this before on this site. You must have been "flying" your rig some too? Always wanted to do that, but still owe too much on it!!
You should just take it to a frame shop and have them check it out. There should be specific "check points" built in to the frame that they can line up on to tell how outta shape it is. Then they can "usually" bend it back, but it will never be the same again...... Sorry.....
Good luck

I guess it's time you installed some stiffer springs and shocks huh? I have Superlift add-a-leafs and Rancho RS5000's in the back and i have never bottomed the back out. I've only bottomed out the front tires once against the fenders but that's because i'm running 35's when i should only be running 33's. I jumped the truck about 2' off the ground when i did that though

If you do a lot of jumpin around with your truck you might want to box in the frame, at least the area near the bumpstop. Most of the muscle car guys do this to keep the frame from twisting when they hit the gas. If you did this it would pretty much double the strength of your frame back there. Just be careful welding next to the gas tank
