texas4x4, most people I've talked to say that they don't adjust their RS9000's too much, they just pick a setting and stick with it. Might be cool to get the remote and play with it a little. But if you aren't gonna be offroading a lot, where you have to adjust them for street/dirt, don't bother with the 9000's, get an auto adjusting shock, like the Rancho RSX, bilstien 5100's, Edlebrock IAS, Monroe Reflex, plus there are a couple more, I think Superlift makes one also, save yourself some money and go with the cheapest one, they are all basically the same in the design, maybe with the exception with the billstiens, they are a bit more firm.

Wow, what a salesman.
I called up 4wheelparts to order RS-9000's for 265$ and the guy ended up selling me the Edelbrock's IAS (with rebates) for 245$. I know that's a good price but for 20 beans I want the better shock, he said he has tried them all and he thinks the Edelbrocks are best.
What do you guys think about that?

I tried to cancel the order but they are already on the way. I really think I would have preferred the RS-9000's. I have a rear sway bar coming too from Hellweig but will probably send that back as well. Heard they don't fit very well and hurt ground clearance a little. Anyone have a ny thoughts on these issues? Thanks.

I have not tried the shocks you mentioned, but I love the 9000s more every day. If at all possible, don't let them sell you what you don't want. If you really want the 9000s then get them.
In any case I'm sure you will be happy, the problem is with the stock shocks. Any thing will be better than those.
