Thumbs up Monroe Reflex

Finally got in on the last day of the 4 for the price of 3 Monroe shock sale. Got em on Friday afternoon. Now after a couple hundred miles I can honestly say they were worth every penny. $164 for 4 Monroe Reflex shocks. I knew the originals were bad, 47K on them. I did not realize how bad until I got the new ones on. So much different that my wife noticed it Friday night when we were driving around. They are worth the investment. Huge improvement in body roll and pitch.

When you say your originals were bad at 47k, do you mean they would continued to bounce after being compressed? Were really stiff? Mine still feel pretty firm at 67k, but I'm starting to look around for aftermarket ones, just 'cuz.

The ride was really gettng bad. You'd get the sensation of riding in a boat going down the highway. Pulling in and out of drive or going over small bumps at slow speeds (speed bumps) it would bounce all over the place.
Under heavy braking the front end would nosedive (pitch)....the OEM "Heavy Duty" shocks were shot.

With the Reflex all these problems went away. I noticed a difference in the first city block I drove. Well worth the money.
