Gears are expensive. The rear is not bad, but the front will make you bend over. The 4.6 has the 8.8 rear and uses the 8.8 reverse rotation gears up front for the IFS.

Cost is about $1200 from what I have heard. I would go 4.10s or 4.56s if you are going even larger.

For power, first open up the air intake. Cut the stock airfilter box in half, that removes one snorkle. Take the TB to MAF hose off, and take out the silencer there. install a K&N filter and you will have a similar setup to the airraid, K&N, airforce kit for the cost of a filter.

Exhaust, at least put a free flow muffler in place of the stock muffler if not a cat-back system.

Forgot to add an electric fan is a easy way to free up HP and get better MPG at the same time!

After that, you can run a larger TB and MAF. Expect about 5% hp gain from those 2.

A chip is good. Superchips is the way to to. Check with Mike Troyer for info and purchasing. Only bad thing about them is you need to run premium fuel or get a flip chip. An alternative is the Hypertech power programmer. it is device you plug into the computer and program it the way you want. You can calibrate for larger tires, gears, fuel rating, tranny shift points, speed limiter, etc. Basically the same as a chip, but you can program what you want and change it as you want.

Other things are power pulleys, PI heads, superchargers. Just depends on the budget and power you want.
