Post 3" or 3.5" Spindle

I'm a little confused about something. I bought the Fabtech 3" spindle lift and everywhere I've read it's referenced this kit as a 3" kit. When I got the kit from Fabtech the first page of the instructions said 3.5" lift spindles. I've also noticed that many people that purchase this kit often still ride higher in the back if they use 2" blocks. I, on the other hand, am completely level which makes me think it was truly a 3.5" lift. Is this true? My truck was originally much higher in the back and I really liked it that way.

Check your part number on the actual spindles. You can read it if you get under the truck. I got the 3.5".

The part # for 3.5" is FTS97159-7, if it matches then you got the new 3.5"!

When I had mine put on, the 2" blocks also kept me higher in the rear. Then I went to 1.5", and still a bit higher. I just bought 1" to see if that does it....
