Who has Traction Bars?
O.k. I've gone with ProComp shocks, not bad. I went with a 3" block in the rear to replace the stock 2" block, now the truck sits with a noticeable rake back to front (but not too raked). Some guys don't like this look, but I do. You can see a lot more of the rear of the truck underneath, and the nice shocks now.
Anyhoo, the question is this: does anybody have Rancho or the ProComp or other brand traction bars for the rear of their truck? Do they actually do any good for control? They would look nice anyways, but I'm not going to spend hundreds just for a cool look. If they do any good, I would consider them. Any info is appreciated, thanks!!

The only thing they help is to reduce rear wheelhop. They do not help with anything like cornering. Other than that, they are just for looks like you said. They do look nice though.

Squanto804 had it right. If when you put the pedal on the floor from a stand still start, you don't get wheel hop or axle wrap, then you don't need them and could spend your money on better things.
