Question Tail happy

Hey folks,

Any suggestions for making my 00 f150 supercab 4x4 Lariat, less tail happy in the rain? I just aquired it and found the tail slides out pretty easily on wet roads.

I am not a fan of good year , or most OEM tires so tomorrow I am putting on new Bridgestone REVOs. That should help a bit I assume.

Is there anything else that should give the rear end more grip in the wet? Anti-sway bar? New shocks? Play with the leaf springs?

Thanks

You're on the right track. The GoodYear's aren't doing you any favors. I hated mine and putting the BFG's on helped tremendously. Hellweg makes a good sway bar for a reasonable price that I can recommend. The sway bar is one of the best mods I have made to my truck to date. I also put some Rancho RSX shocks on that I would do again. Those mods will make your truck handle so differently you won't recognize it. Good Luck!

The Bridgestone REVO's are on! Amazing transformation. I will post an update in the wheel / tire section.

Havn't been able to push it in the rain yet, but so far I think she will stick a lot better.

Gear Head , my only concern with a rear bar is that I could have more oversteer in the rain. What have you noticed after adding yours?

Firmer, flatter but predictable steering response.
