Exclamation !!!!!!!!!1look!!!!!!!!

im going to get a 6 1/2 inch lift with 35 inch tires on my 98 extended cab short bed f150? If i dont regear will it screw anything up besides the acceleration. will it burn the transmission down quicker?

whats your current gearing and engine setup...if you have 3.55s you'll be alright...if you have a v8 and the 3.55s you'll definetely be ok...although a switch in gearing is always recommended and much better for truck performance and drivetrain, you can get away with 3.55 gears on 35s usually, i'm doin it...hope this helps...

There best way to tell is to look on the little metal tag on your rear differential...if it says 355 or 3L55 than you have 3.55 gears...there's a couple of strands about this in the 'Drivetrain' category...hope this helps...
