Anyone know Greasing ball joints trick

Hey all,

Someone posted back when that you can use a needle tip on your grease gun and add grease through the rubber bladder to extend the ball joint life. But, on my 02' there are hard plastic fingures that prevent access to the rubber grease bladder. Anyone been able to do this?

Thanks
Pete

Those plastic pieces are just a protection piece. They aren't actually attached to the ball joint itself. Just pry it out of the way and grease with the needle. When I changed my upper control arms last year I left them off.
