Suspension Lift Question

I have a 1999 F150 and am looking into putting a 6 inch suspension lift and 35 in tires on the truck it has 80,000 miles on it. If i did the lift what type of problems would I be running into down the road. What type of abnormal wear and tear would be caused by the lift and tires.

Thanks for the help.

Hello NoName,

You may want to gears more appropriate for 35" tires, 4.10 or even 4.56 would be a good choice, also getting a SuperTuner to reset your trany and speedo will make your life easer. Doing these 2 things will help eliminate a lot of the drive train stress the larger tires can cause.

Hello NoName it's me again,

In my opinion a 4" lift (Rancho's is the best) and 33" tires are about the max for stock gears. Good luck!
