Question Help Please

Just got back my 2000 4x4 with a 6" Fabtech suspension lift and 35" tires. Problem is my front bumper is 10.5 inches higher and my rear bumper is only 2.5 inches higher? The install company said the front will "settle" after 500 miles. How can it "settle" enough to lower the fornt and raise he back? Doesn't sound or look right to me.

Any insight wouold help!

I beleive the Fabtech 6 inch lift is designed to give 6 inches of lift in the front and 3 inches of lift in the rear. This give a slight pre-runner look to the truck with the front slightly higher than the rear. If you don't like this, you have a couple of options. You can raise the rear end by going to a taller lift block or adding an add-a-leaf to the rear springs or you can lower the front by adjusting the preload on the torsion bars. Your front end my settle some, but it won't be much. Hope this helps.
